If you meet the minimum criteria, you are required to do the following:
- Complete the Imperium International College Scholarship Application Form and attach certified copies of your academic transcript.
- To apply, new students are required to submit an Imperium International College Application Form for the chosen programme and proceed to pay the Student Application Fee before submitting the scholarship application form.
- New students MUST submit the respective forms and attachments to the Scholarship Officer in the Registry before the specified deadline. Late applications will not be considered for selection.
- The decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final, and appeals will not be entertained.
Important Notes
- SPM 2020 Trial/Forecast Result is accepted for Merit/Entrance Scholarship consideration and valid for one semester. Applicants must present actual SPM result one week after the release date, to continue receiving the scholarship for the following semesters or for further review.
- As scholarship awards are limited and competitive, only candidates who meet the minimum criteria specified are eligible to apply.
- Meeting the minimum criteria does not automatically guarantee the applicant a scholarship.
- All scholarship applicants will be evaluated and shortlisted by the Scholarship Committee of Imperium International College. The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to revise the criteria from time to time without prior notice. The decision of the Scholarship Committee is final.
- Students are only entitled to one scholarship at any one time.
- Scholarships also cover prizes, study awards, bursaries and fee waivers.
- Applicants may be awarded a sum that is less than what is stipulated in the brochure, depending on the availability of the Scholarship Fund.
- All scholarships are awarded on a First Come, First Served Basis.
- Scholarships may differ from intake to intake. Students are advised to submit their application before the stipulated deadline.
- Scholarship applicants should check with the Scholarship Officer on the deadline for submission.
Terms & Conditions - GENERAL
- Scholarships/financial aid is available to Malaysian and International Students.
- The scholarships and financial aid offered is strictly for full-time registered students at Imperium International College. Applicants must make full payment of application and administration fees before they are eligible to apply for scholarships. Otherwise, the scholarship application is considered null and void. For new students, the administration fee will be refunded if the application is not successful.
- Scholarships and financial aid awarded is provided in the form of tuition fee waiver.
- Scholarships are normally for the duration of the programme.
- The scholarships/financial aid does not include fees for referral subjects, repeated subjects, examination fees, franchise fees and any English language course that is not part of your main programme, Mata Pelajaran Pengajian Umum (MPU) subjects, and distance education fees, where applicable.
- It is to be noted that scholarships/financial aid awarded is neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash.
- Students receiving scholarships/financial aid from other bodies or institutions are not eligible to apply for the awards of Imperium International College.
- Students will be entitled to only one scholarship or bursary (whichever is higher) and students are not allowed to combine awards. The award of scholarships/financial aid requires recipients to meet entry requirements of the programmes.
- Applicants may accept only one scholarship/financial aid at any one time.
- The final decision to grant a scholarship/financial aid is at the sole discretion of the Scholarship Committee of Imperium International College. Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
- Imperium International College reserves the right to revoke any scholarship in case of failure in examinations, unauthorized dropping of courses, and withdrawal from a programme before completion and / or non-compliance with IIC Rules and Regulations or with other terms and conditions of the scholarship. Recipients will be required to repay the scholarship amount used upon revocation of the scholarship.
- Recipients of scholarships are required to contribute 3-5 hours per week of their time to assist the Head of Department or his designated staff in administration, peer counselling, extracurricular activities, marketing, and promotional activities.
- The Terms and Conditions for the Imperium International College scholarships and financial aid are correct at the time of printing and may be modified or amended from time to time as deemed reasonable and appropriate by Imperium International College.
- Imperium International College reserves the right to involve the scholarship/financial aid recipients in interviews, advertisements or other publicity-related activities for the purpose of promoting the institution.
- The qualifications required for the scholarship may vary from year to year. Applicants should check with the Scholarship Officer on the requirements before applying.
- Late and incomplete application forms will not be considered for selection.
Terms & Conditions - DIPLOMA
- The scholarship /financial aid commences in Semester 1. Applicants must make full payment of fees prior to receiving the award.
- Recipients must maintain a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 out of 4.00 (for scholarship quantum less than 50%) or 3.50 out of 4.00 (for scholarship quantum above 50%) to continue receiving the scholarship for the duration of the scholarship/financial aid.
Terms & Conditions - DEGREE
- The scholarship / financial aid will be implemented from the Semester 1 of the programme. Applicants must make full payment of fees prior to receiving the award.
- Recipients must maintain a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 out of 4.00 (for scholarship quantum less than 50%) or 3.50 out of 4.00 (for scholarship quantum above 50%) to continue receiving the scholarship for the duration of the scholarship/financial aid.
- Decision on the continuation of the scholarship is at the sole discretion of the Head of Centre of the respective programme and the Scholarship Committee.
