They will understand the impact of broadcasting and its influence on society, and be familiar with the fundamental broadcasting terminology to acquire practical skills in the various dimensions of broadcasting such as audiences, research, regulations, programming, screenwriting and production. This broadcasting programme will equip Limkokwing students with the necessary knowledge and skills in order to succeed in the broadcasting industry.


Upon completion of this course, Limkokwing graduates will be able to:
  • Produce and manage programmes for the radio and television media.
  • Operate a camera in single camera production or multi-camera production.
  • Write and produce broadcasting projects such as telefilms, TVCs and music videos.

A pass in SPM/O-Level or its equivalent, with a minimum of 3 credits in any subject, including English OR

A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM/A-Level) or its equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject and a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent OR

A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul and a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent OR

A pass in SKM level 3 and pass SPM with a credit in English OR

A Certificate or its equivalent and a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent OR

A Certificate in Media and Communication or its equivalent. AND


English Proficiency Requirement for International student
  • IELTS 4.0 OR
  • TOEFL iBT 30-31 OR
  • PBT 397 OR
  • CAE 154 (Cambridge Advance English) OR
  • CPE 154 (Cambridge Proficiency English) OR
  • CFE 142-146 (Cambridge First English) OR
  • PTE 30 (Pearson Test of English Academic) OR
  • MUET Band 2
