Cloud computing is the technology of storing and accessing data and programmes over the Internet instead of computer hard drive. There are enormous untapped opportunities in cloud computing which can drive business innovation.

This programme is designed to build knowledge and skills in cloud computing. At the initial stage, students will be exposed to the general area of computing and this will be expanded through the perspective of cloud computing. Another focus is the future development and transformation of cloud technology which is highly sought-after in the industry. 

This programme aims to produce graduates of high academic quality as well as practical standards in cloud computing and network communications to match the demands of both Malaysian and international IT industry.

  • Passed STPM / A-Level with 2 principal pass with CGPA of 2.00 AND credit in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level OR

  • Passed Matriculation or Foundation with minimum CGPA of 2.00 AND credit in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level OR

  • Passed Diploma in Computer Science, Information System or Information Technology, and Software Engineering or equivalent subject with CGPA of 2.50. (*Candidate with CGPA less than 2.50 but above 2.00 can be accepted subjected through stringent internal evaluation process OR

  • Any other equivalent qualifications that is recognized by the Government of Malaysia AND


English Proficiency Requirement for International Students
  • IELTS 5.0 / CEFR B1 (Common European Framework of Reference) OR
  • TOEFL iBT 34 OR
  • TOEFL PBT 410-413 OR
  • CAE 160 (Cambridge Advance English) / CEFR B2 (Common European Framework of Reference) OR
  • CPE 180 (Cambridge Proficiency English) / CEFR C1 (Common European Framework of Reference) OR
  • PTE 36 (Pearson Test of English Academic) OR
  • MUET Band 3
