Diploma in Pharmacy

Diploma in Pharmacy is one of the programme offered at KPJUC Nilai and KPJIC Penang. The programme is aimed to produce a qualified Pharmacy Assistants (PA) with wide knowledge and experiences.  Throughout the 3 years of study, students will undergo several modules, which are subcategorized into Basic Science (Biology, Physiology, Chemistry, and Mathematics etc), Pharmacy Core Subjects (Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Dispensing, Management etc) and Compulsory Subject such as MPU and English. 

After the first semester, student will undergo practical training at 17 esteemed KPJ hospitals for every semester onwards to gain hands-on, real life clinical and pharmacy practice experience.  Upon completion of the study, the student shall be ready to work in pharmacy departments of private hospitals or clinics, retails outlets and manufacturing companies which are expected to raise in demand. This is in line with the expansion of healthcare industry in Malaysia and the increasing demand for Pharmacy Assistants.
