Diploma in Information Technology

In this ever expanding and ever progressing technological boom, IIMAT Diploma in Information technology aims to educate students on the concepts of Information technology, in particular Web Development, Database and Operating System, Programming Language (C++ and JavaScript) and Networking.   We have also enhanced our syllabus with the addition of Python programming as a subject.  The course will introduce skills and concepts related to the design, development, and deployment of Computer Applications and Information Technology.   You will be equipped with the knowledge to better understand the technology behind many of today’s advancements and gain the skills for a starting point to be a sought-after computing professional.  Upon completion of this program, you will be equipped with the knowledge and technical capabilities sought after by employers in the IT industry. 

This program duration is 2 and a half years and it provides industrial training for 4 consecutive months which exposes students to the IT industry.  This program has been fully accredited by Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).  Furthermore, IIMAT has collaborated with international University of Kuala Lumpur (IUKL) to provide students with the opportunity to pursue a degree program there.  IIMAT students will be entitled to an exemption for a minimum of 24 credits with IUKL degree program in IT.
