Foundation in Design

The programme is designed to provide students with necessary knowledge and skills that serve as fundamental blocks for the students to further their study at the degree level, specifically in the Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Creative Media and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Interior Architecture programmes. Learning takes place beyond the classroom via field trips, attending talks by prominent speakers and participating in competitions.

The programme involved the investigation of several key spheres of design study and practice, such as design process, observation, developing visual narratives, problem-solving skills and critical and creative thinking skills.
