AIMST is a forward-looking, campus-based private sector university established in Malaysia’s northern state of Kedah Darul Aman. The programs offered by AIMST are rated at Tier 4 (very Good Category) by D-Setara. The Faculty of Medicine at AIMST entered into Avicenna’s directory for Medicine in 2010 (Avicenna, the successor to WHO is currently referred to as the World Directory of Medical Schools).
In 2013, AIMST got the global award for ‘Leadership in medical sciences education excellence’, which is one more feather on the cap of Faculty of Medicine. In 2016, AIMST University’s MBBS degree got recognized by Medical Council of India. Faculty of Medicine has MoUs and strategic partnerships with several National and International Institutions which include the Queen Mary University of London.
