Manipal University College Malaysia offers excellent recreational facilities which are accessible to all staff and students. The Sports Complex also organizes sporting activities and co-curriculum activities, besides serving as the coordinating body for all sporting facilities on campus.

The cafeteria at Manipal University College Malaysia offers endless array of dishes to suit every taste bud and appetite. It aims to encourage people to enjoy what they eat and to make the eating experience a pleasurable one. The friendly and passionate cooks pay attention to the taste, texture, aroma, appearance, and temperature of the different foods served to give a satisfying and enjoyable feeling. There's a meal for everyone whether you are eating alone or dining with friends.

The cozy ambience allows you to sit down and focus on eating and savour your food in the company of friends. It provides a pleasant, clean, comfortable dining experience. Several stations are manned by different cooking styles such as Indian, Malay and Chinese that offers great tasting, wholesome entrées including vegetarian entrées and a variety of vegetables and side dishes for breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. The beverage station offers fresh fruit juices, assortments of milk, freshly brewed coffee and tea or even iced drinks to quench your thirst in the hot afternoon. The dessert corner offers an array of delicious desserts, yogurt and fresh fruits. The gazebo station operates in the afternoon and evening to provide an open-air environment and allows you to watch others play cricket and basketball while enjoying your food. It offers a variety of delicious treats such as banana fitters and local kuih.

Manipal University College Malaysia has 2 blocks of hostels, a Female Hostel and a Male Hostel. The Female Hostel is on a 3-storey building with a left and right wing and is located within the campus while the Boys Hostel is a 10-storey building and is just walking distance from the Sport Complex. The Female Hostel has 391 rooms where else the boys hostel has 259 rooms, which bring the total to 650 rooms.

All our rooms are for single occupancy and with attached bathroom. Each room is fitted with:

Both hostels are equipped with Washing Machines, Dryers, Water Dispensers, Microwave & hot plates. At the ground floor of the Female Hostel, there is a Mini Mart, which caters for immediate needs and a cafeteria, which caters for Indian Malay and Chinese Food. 24 hours security services are available in both hostels.

At the Boys Hostel there is a Gazebo outside which has a TV and small café for the boys. There is a prayer hall for the Muslim students within the hostel premise.

There is a Hostel Committee which sees to the need of the Hostel and 2 Hostel Executives who see to the day-to-day issues.

Hostels provided is single occupancy type for our MBBS students starting at Muar (semester 6&7). There are plenty of Single AC rooms available in the Male hostel and Female hostel. The hostel also offers other facilities such as library, reading rooms, TV rooms and other amenities including water heater and WiFi internet connectivity. Laundry services is widely available at the hostel.

In addressing concerns for safety, security and discipline among students it is mandatory for all semester 6 & 7 students to stay in the hostel. A hand booklet will be given to all students pertaining the Discipline and Conduct during their stay in the hostel.
