These support systems are often developed from scratch and tailored for specific purposes to increase effectiveness within the organisation. The growing demand for Information Systems professionals who also possess an aptitude for business organisations means graduates of this program often enjoy very rewarding careers. Information Systems focuses on the study of complementary networks of hardware and software that people and organizations use to collect, filter, process, create, and distribute data. Essentially, this is computing in an organizational context, typically in businesses. It serves as a bridge between the technical and management communities within an organization.

UOW Malaysia KDU’s Bachelor of Information Systems (Hons) (Enterprise Information Systems) provides in-depth training in the analysis and management of information within the context of the business environment. The program aims to enable graduates to exploit the capabilities of today’s technologies by equipping them with skills to design, develop and manage systems involving business data to provide solutions to organisational problems.

Students will also gain soft skills required to communicate and articulate clearly knowledge and innovative ideas appropriate for the problem context as well as the stakeholders at large.
