The course provides students with a strong foundation of necessary academic and communication skills, knowledge and technical skills in the Engineering/Science stream. It serves as a pathway to direct entry to the Sarawak campus and to specific undergraduate courses at the Australian campuses.

Pathways

The Swinburne Foundation Studies, through the delivery of the Business, Design, Engineering/Science and Information Technology/Multimedia majors are a pathway for students to enter the relevant degree courses in Sarawak or Australia. Students who complete the Foundation program and meet Swinburne Melbourne’s faculty entry requirements may apply for entry to those faculties.

Students must complete Engineering Maths B and Physics to articulate to the Engineering Degrees.

Students must complete Chemistry to articulate to the following Degree:
  • Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology)
