This programme prepares students for the exciting world of accounting and finance. Students will not only learn the technical aspects of this discipline but be exposed to the latest development in this field of study brought about by globalisation and the 4th Industrial Revolution.
The programme is also designed to focus on the application of knowledge to practical scenarios that mirror those in industry. Students will also undergo workplace experiential learning during an internship with a commercial firm during the industrial training module of this programme.
Hence, upon completion of this programme, graduates should be well equipped to excel in this field and/or to pursue a professional accounting qualification. Students who graduate from this programme will get exemption from 9 modules when they enrol for the ACCA programme and hence only have to study the last 4 modules to graduate.
