This course is dedicated to cultivating graduates who have a comprehensive understanding of Chinese and native Chinese literature, language, history, culture and thought, familiar with various related theories, and most importantly - with humanistic care and cultural accomplishment.

This course offers two elective modules, Academic Chinese and Creative Chinese, to cultivate local academic talents and creative writers with more emphasis and orientation. With the improvement of the students' theoretical knowledge and systematic training and practice, students of various majors can have different volatility after graduation - independent academic research is conducive to future research or teaching career; good criticism, appreciation, and creation Creative and meaningful literary works. The curriculum also designs workplace internships to train graduates who are good at expression, reasoning and organization, which will help them prepare for future careers related to culture, education, media and publishing.

Facing the workplace, graduates of this department have a wide range of opportunities. For all cultural and educational work, such as academic research, education, writing, translation, advertising copywriting, communication and publishing, public relations, administration, secretarial, Chinese web design and management, etc., there is no disadvantage.
