The National Higher Education Funding Agency's student loan is referred to as PTPTN. The government created it mainly to provide student loans to help students on their way to higher education after graduating from high school, without having to give up the opportunity to continue their studies due to economic problems. The PTPTN student loan is not a scholarship. This student loan will need to be repaid after graduation in the future. The amount of applicants will depend on many factors, such as: the department obtained, the credits taken, the college attended, family income and so on.

PTPTN Loan Application Eligibility

Malaysian citizens
Be under 45 years of age at the date of application
At the time of application, the remaining duration of the course must not be less than one year
When applying for PTPTN student loans and during the PTPTN benefit period in the future, you do not enjoy any off-campus scholarships and student loans
Grade requirements
- SPM: BM and Sejarah passed, and at least 3 grades of "C" (including English)
- UEC: At least 3 grades of "B" (including English)
