What will I do?
You are going to be trained as a computer network support specialist who will be responsible for keeping networks running smoothly. You test, troubleshoot, analyze, perform maintenance, and solve network problems. Every company needs to have at least one Network Engineer to establish the network environment.
To do so, they need formal knowledge to configure the routers and switches. If they have the CCNA certification, it means that they were tested and qualified to handle the equipment. This is the value of the certification and with this, they are considered professional and the scale of the salary they will earn is much more that graduates without the certification.
Additional demand in this field is expected to experience growth over the next few years, including network engineer. Opportunities exist for network engineers in the public and private sectors.
What should I expect?
You will either be working internally as part of an organization’s support team in the IT Department or externally as part of an outsourced IT networking consultancy firm in which, you will be dealing with a number of clients. Depending on the organization you are working with, you may either be working in the office or from home.
