Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the programme, the students will be able to:
- Demonstrate familiarity with the major concepts, theoretical perspective, empirical findings, and historical trends in psychology;
- Respect and use critical and creative thinking, skeptical inquiry, and, when possible, a scientific approach to solve problems related to behavior and mental processes;
- Understand and apply psychological principles to personal, social, and organisational issues;
- Develop insight into Psychological assessment, diagnosis, interpretation and intervention as well as evaluating and applying best fit research design, methodology and analysis;
- Apply cultural competencies to effective and sensitive interactions with people from diverse backgrounds and cultural perspectives;
- Improve understanding of the social world in interpreting and analyzing relevant psychological research data; and
- Develop high levels of theoretical engagement and intellectual autonomy that includes independent self-managed learning, conducting and reporting research under supervision.
